Want to bid on a piece of art?

Bidding with easyliveauction.com isn’t difficult, but for those that haven’t used their platform before here’s a step-by-step guide to how you first create an account, then register to bid in the auction.
The screenshots on the right (or underneath if you’re looking on a mobile) can be clicked on to be made larger.
Creating an account...
1. Go to Easyliveauctioncom. Click on ‘create account’ on top bar:
2. You should now see the ‘New User Registration’ page. Fill in as required and click ‘Create New Account’:
3. You should then get a thank you notice telling you a verification email has been sent. (It may take a few minutes for this email to arrive in your inbox):
4. Just click on the link in the email to verify your address. You should be taken to a page on easyliveauction.com which will say ‘Registration: Your email is verified, you can now start bidding’ :
5. Either
A) Click on ‘View Catalogues’ to go to Easylive’s list of upcoming auctions. Simply look under the list of ‘Auction Houses’ on the left and click on ‘Art4Action’.
NOW click the green ‘register to bid’ button to register for the Art4Action auction.

NOW click the green ‘register to bid’ button to register for the Art4Action auction.
6) Now fill in the ‘Complete account details’ page and click update account:
7) You will then be taken to an Auction Registration page. Click on ‘Add New Card’
Note: You must add a bank card to bid. This is for security reasons to reduce the risk of fraud. A nominal sum of just 10 pence will be debited from you account just to prove you are who you say you are. (Remember buyers can potentially bid up thousands of pounds at auctions so the auction platform needs to make sure that ‘real’ people are bidding). No payments for bids are taken prior to the closing of the auction. If you are lucky to win a bid you will receive an invoice from Art4Action with payment details once the auction is closed and all bids received.
8) Once you have entered your card details on the ’Auction registration’ page, another set of options at the bottom will appear. Click the ‘Free Registration’ option (there is only one option available for a timed auction).
Then click on the ‘Register to bid’ green button (where you agree to the T&C’s).
9) This will take you back a page which confirms that you are registered to bid:
10) You should also receive an email confirmation. You can now ‘Return to Catalogue’ and start bidding!
And now on to the bidding… !
Making that bid... !
First look through our catalogue and choose the piece(s) you like. Then click on the one you want to bid on.
1) You should then see a ‘place bid’ option. Type in the price you are offering for the artwork and press place bid:
2) You will then be asked to confirm your bid:
3) You should get a message that you are the highest bidder on the page and also by email:
4) If you are outbid you should receive an email notification so you can place another bid if required. You will also see that you are outbid on the item listing:
And finally here’s a quick tip!
It’s a good idea to create your own ‘watch list’. Click the blue ‘Watch Lot’ on each listing you like.
Then click on ‘MyELA’ on the top menu to see your watch list, your won lots and current bids etc. From here you can click on each artwork you are ‘watching’ to make easily make bids etc.
