The Wareham Forest Fires shocked many of us in 2020 – not least because they were caused through accidents by thoughtless visitors to the forest using portable barbeques.
My reference for this painting was one of the many superb images taken by the Wilts and Dorset Fire and Rescue Service (with their kind permission).
