Jenny Frankland: My Biog
‘I was born and grew up in Studland and Swanage and have now returned to the area and live in Wareham. I am an active member of Wareham Art Club and Wimborne Amateur Art Society .
I have always enjoyed art but working full time in a demanding career it was not possible to enjoy this hobby to the full. Having made the decision a few years ago to work part time and finally in 2020 retiring completely I have been making up for ‘lost time’.
I try to attend and enjoy as many workshops and short break art holidays as I can and indulge myself with trying out and learning about as many mediums and subjects as possible. My favourite medium at the moment is graphite and pastel but I also love to dabble in water colour and acrylic. I also enjoy pottery, felt work, willow and anything that takes my fancy really !!. My favourite subjects are animals and people. My ‘arty’ side of life is now just wonderful.’
